For nearly two decades Dr. Jesseca has extensive experience in public service, finance, and community leadership needed to address critical issues to move District 3 forward.

  • Mentor and Academic Counselor dedicated to supporting at-risk youth through mentorship programs, offering guidance in academic and personal development.
  • Served as a financial and policy analyst, providing expertise to various nonprofits and local government agencies in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Atlanta, Columbus, and Salt Lake City.
  • Worked in the Planning and Zoning Department with the City of Longview, contributing to urban developments and land-use planning.
  • Appointed as Director of the Housing Finance Corporation for District 3 (City of Dallas) overseeing housing finance initiatives and programs.
  • Inaugural Chair of Joppy Momma’s Farm (Dallas, TX), leading community development efforts and agricultural initiatives.
  • Educator at the University of North Texas at Dallas: Trains public leaders and emergency managers in strategic planning, budgeting, program evaluation, and performance measures, while promoting economic mobility through education.
